These terms govern Unhexify

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Unhexify and the Unhexify pages on prevolut.uk. They form an agreement between you and Prevolut Ltd ("Prevolut", "we", "us", or "our").

By installing, accessing, or using Unhexify, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Unhexify is

Unhexify is a macOS utility for inspecting and decoding hexadecimal data and related representations from your clipboard. It is a general-purpose developer utility, not a security product, forensic service, cryptographic verifier, or source-of-truth for the meaning of arbitrary data.

Decoding bytes into text does not establish that the decoded text is authentic, safe, complete, or trustworthy. You are responsible for interpreting the result in context.

Licence to use the app

Subject to these Terms and any applicable store terms, Prevolut grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Unhexify on devices you own or control for lawful purposes.

This licence does not transfer ownership of the software to you. You may not sell, sublicense, rent, lease, distribute, or commercially exploit the app except where applicable law or written permission allows it.

Use the utility lawfully

You must not use Unhexify to violate applicable law, infringe another person's rights, interfere with systems you do not have permission to access, or distribute malicious content.

You must not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or circumvent technical protections in the app except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits you to do so.

Check important results yourself

Unhexify performs deterministic transformations according to its supported decoding rules, but input can be ambiguous, malformed, incomplete, deliberately deceptive, or encoded in a format the app does not understand.

You are responsible for checking important results before relying on them. In particular, do not treat a decoded string as proof of identity, authenticity, authorisation, security, or the intent of the person who supplied the original data.

Apple and other services

Unhexify runs on macOS and may depend on operating-system functionality supplied by Apple. If you obtain or update the app through a third-party distribution platform, that platform's terms also apply to your use of its services.

Third-party services are not controlled by Prevolut. Their availability, security, privacy practices, and terms are their responsibility.

Our intellectual property

Unhexify, its name, branding, software, visual design, documentation, and associated website content are owned by Prevolut Ltd or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited licence above, no rights are granted to you by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.

The app is provided as available

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unhexify is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every future macOS release, or capable of decoding every input format.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer rights or other statutory protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prevolut will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely economic loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on decoded data, your inability to use the app, or content supplied through the app.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Where you are a consumer, these Terms do not affect rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

Changes to the app and these terms

We may release updates, fixes, security improvements, feature changes, or compatibility changes to Unhexify. Some versions may stop supporting older operating-system versions.

We may also update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made. Your continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

England and Wales

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
